Right now it's, let's see, 2.15am, and I'm still up reading through lecture notes on JC Maths C. Yeah. Took up some tuition to earn some shillings in my almost empty pockets. (So I can go crazy when the July Great Singapore Sales comes... No la.)
Anyway, I found out I really lost touch with maths. Things like complex numbers De Moirve's theorem, I thought those were mainly F maths stuff. The kids these days are taking it in their maths C syllabus. That's kinda sad for them. And I'm embarrassed to say that I can't teach them maths as fluently as I'm supposed to be, which explains the late-night reading up. Hey, I'm trying my best to impart to our younger generation some of my
coughimmense
cough knowledge leh. Lol.
But as much as I'm trying to be the model maths teacher, I think I needa sleep soon. Gonna have psycho lecture tomorrow, and I refuse to sleep in lectures. So far I'm damn proud of myself for being early for every single lesson, and being VERY attentive in class. (In fact, if I don't, who will copy my notes? Sigh.
Too bad I'm just the exemplary procrastinator. Wanted to read up on Saturday or at least today morning, but I'm just too stuck to my PS2. I know I've been playing some lame game like the FFX-2, but I'm not over the fact that I rushed through it the last time, and I really wanna get it perfected this time. I'm a sucker for perfection when it comes to games, don't ask me why.
Oh ya, talk about games. Just got this new, pirated FF XII from across the causeway. Hehe, I had to mention this, coz someone *ahem* I quote, "risked his butt" to get it smuggled into Singapore. Lol. Well, I was looking at the game in one of those ubiquitious pirate shops when I saw that it was in english, and I thought the english original was supposed to only come out late this year.
Well, I was right. The freaking game was in Japanese, but my jaws dropped at the realistic full motion videos at the start of the game. The game system is not bad too. It's no longer the kinds where you move around and then suddenly you are flashed into a screen fighting with the enemies. This time you can see the enemies, and you immediately go into combat with them. I can't really describe it here, but it's pretty cool. Looking forward to the english version end of this year.
Enough side-tracking. Gotta get back to maths. Sigh.
